STORY

The Polestar 3 is the brand's first SUV, revealed in 2022 and entering production in 2024. It is built on the Volvo/Geely SPA2 platform, shares its underpinnings with the Volvo EX90, and is produced in both China and at Volvo's plant in Charleston, South Carolina. It launched as a dual-motor performance electric SUV with air suspension and an available Performance Pack, and a longer-range single-motor version joined it later. Advanced driver-assistance hardware, including lidar options, supports its technology positioning.
