STORY

Laurentian was a Canadian Pontiac name, matched in trim to Chevrolet's Bel Air. Canadian Pontiacs used Chevrolet chassis, engines and body shells. The United States counterpart of the Laurentian was the Catalina. The 1965 to 1970 Canadian full-size cars rode on a GM B platform, as the Catalina did, although the parts were not interchangeable, and Canadian Pontiacs carried names such as Laurentian and Parisienne instead of the American ones.
