The X50 is a B-segment SUV launched in 2020, based on the Geely Binyue/Coolray and the second Proton model developed under Geely ownership. It has a turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It quickly became a sales hit and helped modernise Proton's image.
