STORY

The Satria was a three-door hatchback launched in 1994, based on the Mitsubishi Mirage/Colt and powered by Mitsubishi 4G-series engines. Its high point was the Satria GTi, a Lotus-tuned hot hatch with the 1.8 4G93 DOHC engine and sharpened handling, which became a favourite of Malaysian enthusiasts. A home-grown Satria Neo followed in 2006 with a Lotus-developed chassis and its own R3 performance version bred in rallying.
