The Ram 1500 is the light-duty pickup in Ram's range. Ram became a separate truck brand in 2010, and the 1500 carried on the line of Dodge Ram pickups. The fourth generation (DS) went on sale in 2009, and the fifth generation (DT) in 2019. Engines have included a 4.7 V8, the 5.7 HEMI V8 and the 3.6 Pentastar V6 with eTorque. From 2025 the 1500 comes with the 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo straight-six in two output levels.
The Ram 1500 is the full-size half-ton pickup from Ram Trucks and the brand's best-known model.
