STORY
Renault's Austral replaces the Kadjar and sits on the CMF-CD platform. It was shown to the public at the Paris motor show in October 2022, and European sales were due in the final months of that year. The Palencia plant in Spain started building it in July 2022 and made the 100,000th car on 17 November 2023, an E-Tech full hybrid. The full hybrid pairs a 1.2 litre three-cylinder turbo petrol with an electric motor and makes 200 PS, which Carscoops lists as 197 hp.
