STORY

The Renault Clio V6 was an extreme mid-engined supermini built from 2001 to 2005. A transversely mounted 3.0-litre V6 took the place of the rear seats and drove the rear wheels. It was developed first with input from TWR. The Phase 1 made about 230 PS, and the Phase 2 of 2003, revised by Renault Sport, raised output to 255 PS with sharper handling. Its wide arches and unusual layout make it one of the most collectible hot hatches ever built.
