The Duster started as a Dacia and was launched across Europe in 2010. In India, where it is sold as a Renault, the company withdrew it in 2022 and brought the third generation back on 17 March 2026. Two turbo-petrol engines were offered at launch: a 1.0-litre of about 100 PS (99 bhp) and a 1.3-litre of about 163 PS (161 bhp). Both take a six-speed manual, and the 1.3-litre can also be had with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic.
A tough, affordable compact SUV sold as a Renault in many markets and known for good value and off-road ability.
