Cup is a hardware chassis pack, not a trim label: 24.2 mm front anti-roll bar (+13 per cent anti-roll stiffness), specific dampers, axle stiffness +35/+38 per cent front/rear versus the Sport chassis, limited-slip differential, grooved discs with four-pot Brembo calipers. Top speed and kerb weight are not stated in the source. On sale into 2012, when the RS 265 replaced it; the Trophy 265 of 2011 was a limited edition alongside it, not its replacement.

STORY

The Renault Megane is a C-segment family car launched in 1995 and now in its fourth generation, offered over the years as a hatchback, saloon, estate, coupe-cabriolet and the striking Megane II with its distinctive rump. It is best known for the Renault Sport hot hatches, which repeatedly set front-wheel-drive lap records at the Nurburgring, including the RS 265 and RS 275 Trophy-R.
