The Sandero is a budget supermini launched in 2007. It is sold under the Dacia badge in most markets and as a Renault in Latin America, Russia and other regions. It is built on a sturdy, low-cost platform and was a big success for its value for money. It was later joined by the Stepway crossover version with a raised ride height. Across three generations it has been one of the best sellers in the affordable-car segment.
