STORY

Renault showed the Talisman saloon to the media on 6 July 2015 and planned to put it on the Frankfurt Motor Show stand when the show opened to the public on 17 September 2015. The saloon and the Estate were both to be built at Douai in France, and European sales were expected to start at the end of 2015. Renault described it as the only D-segment saloon to combine 4Control four-wheel steering with active damping, which is the maker's own claim. The company presented the car as part of an effort to renew and upgrade its high-end range.
