STORY

The Twizy was introduced on the French market in March 2012 as a two-seat electric quadricycle. The passenger sits behind the driver, as on a tandem bicycle, and scissor doors were an option. It has a 6.1 kWh battery with a claimed range of 90 km (NEDC). The two versions are named for their top speed in km/h: the Twizy 45 has 4 kW and the Twizy 80 has 13 kW. It was built in Valladolid, Spain, and production later moved to Busan, South Korea. Renault ended Twizy production in September 2023, and the Mobilize Duo is its successor.
