STORY

The Renault Wind is a two-seat coupe-roadster. Renault planned production for the first half of 2010 and, according to Wards in February 2010, would show it at the Geneva Motor Show that March; most European markets got it in September 2010. It was built at the Revoz plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, on an assembly line shared with the Twingo and Clio II. Two petrol engines were offered, a 1.2-litre TCe with 100 hp and a 1.6-litre 16-valve with 133 hp. The roof folds away in about 12 seconds, and kerb weight was 1,131 kg for the TCe and 1,173 kg for the 1.6.
