STORY

The production Zoe went into series production at Flins in France in 2012, and the first cars carried a 22 kWh battery. A new R240 motor, also rated 65 kW, took over in 2015, a 41 kWh pack followed, and in 2019 the second phase brought a 52 kWh pack. Renault scheduled the last Zoe for 30 March 2024 at Flins, after roughly 420,000 had been built, and named the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric as its successor. The car had been shown in production form at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
