STORY

The 950 was Roewe's executive flagship, launched in 2012 to replace the ageing Rover-derived 750 at the top of the range. Unlike its predecessor it was based on GM's Epsilon II platform, shared with the Buick LaCrosse, reflecting SAIC's joint venture with General Motors. It offered turbocharged four-cylinder, 2.4-litre four-cylinder and 3.0-litre V6 petrol engines, and an e950 plug-in hybrid arrived in 2016. Production of the petrol car ended in 2019.
