STORY

The RX5, launched in 2016, is one of the most important cars in Roewe's modern history: developed with Alibaba, it was Alibaba's first 'internet car', with in-car software from Alibaba controlling navigation, media and vehicle functions. The range expanded with the eRX5 plug-in hybrid, and a third generation arrived in 2022. The RX5 also underpinned the MG HS sold in export markets.
