STORY

The Rover 200 was the company's compact line for fifteen years. The first car, the SD3 of 1984, was a saloon based on the Honda Ballade. The R8 followed in 1989, again developed with Honda, and came in 1.6 and 2.0 GTi forms and as the 220 Turbo. The R3 of 1995 had a new body and was renamed the 25 in 1999.
