STORY

The Rover 75 was an executive car sold from 1999 to 2005, developed under BMW ownership. BMW sold Rover in 2000, and the car carried on under MG Rover. It had retro styling, the KV6 petrol engine and a BMW-sourced diesel. A Tourer estate followed, and at the end a rear-wheel-drive 75 V8 with a 4.6 Ford engine. The MG ZT was its sporty twin. Production ended when MG Rover collapsed in 2005.
