STORY

The Metro was a British supermini that was on sale for 18 years under three names. The Austin Metro was launched in 1980, and the MG Metro Turbo was its fast version. In 1990 it was renamed the Rover Metro and received K-series engines, including the 1.4 GTi 16v. In 1994 it became the Rover 100, sold until 1998.
