STORY
The 9-3 was introduced in 1998 as the successor to the 900 and was Saab's compact executive car. The first generation was a development of the 900 and came as a hatchback and a convertible. The second generation arrived in 2002 on a GM platform and added a sedan and, in 2005, the SportCombi wagon. Turbocharged engines were used across most of the range, and the Aero was the sporting version. The model ended after Saab went bankrupt in December 2011, and NEVS built a limited number in 2013 and 2014.
