STORY
The LS2 was the V6 sedan of the 2000 Saturn L-series, launched in May 1999. It used a 3.0-liter DOHC V6 rated at 182 hp, borrowed from Saab without the turbocharger, and came with a four-speed automatic as its gearbox. The LS2 name lasted one model year: for 2001 the sedans were renamed L100, L200 and L300. The line was built in Wilmington, Delaware, was restyled in 2003 with larger headlights and a revised rear, and finished with the 2005 model year, by then without the wagons.
