STORY
The Bocanegra name, Spanish for "black mouth", first appeared on the Seat 1200 Sport coupe of the mid-1970s, named for its distinctive black front nose panel, and was revived on the fourth-generation 6J Ibiza. Shown as a concept in 2008, it reached showrooms from 2009 as a range-topping limited edition with a blacked-out nose. It borrowed FR and Cupra running gear, including the 1.4 TSI twincharger and 2.0 TDI engines.
