STORY

The Leon is Seat's Golf-sized family hatchback, launched in 1999 on the Volkswagen Group A-platform. Named after the Spanish city, it became the brand's best-seller, offered as a five-door hatch and later an ST estate. Successive generations shared platforms with the VW Golf while wearing sharper Mediterranean styling.
