STORY

The first Fabia RS arrived in March 2003 with a 1.9 TDI turbodiesel of 96 kW, the first Fabia to wear the RS badge. The second-generation RS followed with the 2010 facelift: a 1.4 TSI with both supercharger and turbocharger, 132 kW (180 hp), and a standard seven-speed DSG, built until 2014. In Britain the car was sold as the Fabia vRS, announced on 17 May 2010 at 15,700 pounds for the hatchback and 16,495 pounds for the estate, with 7.3 seconds to 62 mph and a top speed of 139 mph quoted for the hatchback. The estate version was new to the range.
