STORY
The Fabia Scout is a second-generation model, not a first-generation one. Škoda showed a design study based on the new Fabia Combi at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2007, with unpainted lower cladding in the style of the Octavia and Roomster Scouts. The production version had its world debut at Geneva on 3 March 2009, after the first images were released on 19 February, and went on sale in Europe from late May. It sat higher than the standard car and added silver roof rails, extra plastic cladding and 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, The third generation had no Scout; Škoda announced the Fabia Combi ScoutLine, an off-road-look trim on the standard estate, in October 2015, for sale from early 2016.
