STORY

The first Octavia Combi RS was the estate that followed the first RS saloon (2000 by one Skoda page, 2001 by another) in 2002, with a 1.8 turbo petrol of 132 kW (180 hp). The second generation arrived in 2006 with a 2.0 TFSI of 147 kW (200 hp) after a September 2005 premiere at the Frankfurt IAA; Skoda says it was about 150 kg heavier and offered DSG for the first time. The third-generation RS made its debut in 2013 and went from 162 kW to 169 kW and finally 180 kW. In 2020 the RS iV became the first RS plug-in hybrid, with 180 kW (245 PS) system output.
