STORY

The modern Octavia revived a historic Skoda name in 1996. It was the brand's first all-new model developed under Volkswagen ownership, shared its platform with the Golf and quickly became Skoda's best-selling car. Its liftback body offers saloon looks with hatchback practicality and a class-leading boot. Across four generations it has grown in size and technology and stayed the value benchmark of the compact family class. A Chinese Octavia Pro version is sold locally.
