Most powerful series Octavia of the 5E generation, launched June 2017 with the facelift. 180 kW (245 PS) at 5,000-6,700 rpm, 370 Nm at 1,600-4,300 rpm, VAQ electronic front limited-slip differential, 19-inch wheels on 225/35 R19. Six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG, both 6.6 s to 100 km/h and 250 km/h; kerb weight incl. driver 1,445 kg manual / 1,465 kg DSG. Also sold as the Combi estate. Not a limited run.

STORY

The modern Octavia revived a historic Skoda nameplate in 1996 as the brand's first all-new model developed under Volkswagen ownership, sharing its platform with the Golf and quickly becoming Skoda's best-selling car. Its signature liftback body offers saloon looks with hatchback practicality and a class-leading boot. Across four generations it has grown in size and technology while remaining the value benchmark of the compact family class, with a Chinese Octavia Pro variant sold locally.
