Roomster Scout 1.6 16V

STORY

The Roomster Scout is the soft-roader trim of the 5J Roomster, not an all-wheel-drive car. Fleet News covered it on 5 February 2007 and Motor Authority gave a market launch planned for March 2007. Auto Express described roof rails and chunky plastic bumpers for an urban safari look, and noted it stays front-wheel drive. Standard equipment included 16-inch alloy wheels. After the facelift of about 2010 the front bumpers and fog lights changed, and a German test said the Scout was sold only with the stronger engines, the two 1.2 TSI and both 1.6 TDI. It left the range when Roomster production ended on 30 April 2015.
