The Subaru XV 1.6i of the facelifted GP generation is the European base petrol model for 2015 to 2017. It has the black grille with chrome surround and new headlamps of the update, and the same 1.6-litre FB16 engine with 114 PS, a five-speed manual and all-wheel drive. An optional Lineartronic CVT was also available.

STORY

The Subaru Crosstrek (originally XV Crosstrek) is a subcompact crossover derived from the Impreza hatchback, first introduced in 2012 with raised ground clearance and standard all-wheel drive. It has become one of Subaru's best-sellers, later gaining a plug-in hybrid variant. The model moved to the Subaru Global Platform with its second generation and was fully redesigned again in 2023.
