The Crosstrek Hybrid PHEV is the plug-in hybrid of the second-generation Crosstrek, sold in 2021 and 2022 after the facelift. It combines a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with an electric motor for about 148 horsepower of system output and 197 Nm, with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. It was the only version of the range that could be charged from a plug.

STORY

The Subaru Crosstrek (originally XV Crosstrek) is a subcompact crossover derived from the Impreza hatchback, first introduced in 2012 with raised ground clearance and standard all-wheel drive. It has become one of Subaru's best-sellers, later gaining a plug-in hybrid variant. The model moved to the Subaru Global Platform with its second generation and was fully redesigned again in 2023.
