The XV 2.0 e-Boxer is the hybrid version of the second-generation Crosstrek (called XV in Europe), built for the European market after the 2021 facelift, in 2021 and 2022. It pairs the 2.0-litre FB20 four-cylinder with an electric assist and makes 150 PS, sent to all four wheels through a CVT. The facelift added a revised front bumper and grille.

STORY

The Subaru Crosstrek (originally XV Crosstrek) is a subcompact crossover derived from the Impreza hatchback, first introduced in 2012 with raised ground clearance and standard all-wheel drive. It has become one of Subaru's best-sellers, later gaining a plug-in hybrid variant. The model moved to the Subaru Global Platform with its second generation and was fully redesigned again in 2023.
