Impreza WRC (two-door GC)

WRC98 · 1998–1998AWD

The 1998 Impreza WRC kept the two-door coupe shell of the first World Rally Car but gained computer-controlled active differentials and an electronic throttle. Power stayed at roughly 300 horsepower from the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, with a sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive. It was the second season of Subaru's two-door GC rally programme.
