The Impreza 2.5i is the larger-engined sedan of the 'hawkeye' GD/GG generation, sold in international markets from 2005 to 2007. Its 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine makes about 173 horsepower and is paired with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. It is the easy-going automatic choice above the 2.0 cars.

STORY

The Subaru Impreza is a compact car launched in 1992 to replace the Leone, offered as a sedan, hatchback, and wagon with boxer engines and available all-wheel drive. It became known worldwide through the turbocharged WRX and WRX STI performance versions and Subaru's rally successes, though those were later split into a separate WRX line. The fifth generation moved to the Subaru Global Platform in 2016.
