GE/GH · 2007–2008AWD

The Impreza S-GT is a Japan-only turbo hatchback of the third generation (GE/GH), sold as an Impreza rather than a WRX. It uses the EJ20X, a 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbo four making 250 PS, with a five-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. It went on sale in June 2007 and kept the S-GT name until October 2008, when the grade became the 2.0GT.

STORY

The Subaru Impreza is a compact car launched in 1992 to replace the Leone, offered as a sedan, hatchback, and wagon with boxer engines and available all-wheel drive. It became known worldwide through the turbocharged WRX and WRX STI performance versions and Subaru's rally successes, though those were later split into a separate WRX line. The fifth generation moved to the Subaru Global Platform in 2016.
