The Legacy 2.2 Touring Wagon puts the 2.2-litre EJ22E single-overhead-cam four-cylinder, rated at 130 hp, into the five-door estate body of the first-generation Legacy. This version has a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive, although an automatic and front-wheel drive were also offered. It was sold from 1990 to 1991.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive.
