This Legacy 2.0 Turbo GT is the international-market turbo sedan of the BC/BJ Legacy after the June 1991 facelift, built from 1991 to 1993. A turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder makes about 200 horsepower and drives all four wheels through a manual gearbox. It was the sporting export Legacy of its time, rated a little below the 220 PS Japanese-market RS.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
