The Legacy 2.0 GT Touring Wagon in its facelifted BD/BG form was sold in Japan from 1996 to 1998. After the June 1996 revision its EJ20R 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder is rated at 260 PS, sent to all four wheels through an automatic gearbox. The 280 PS manual-only version of the engine went to the separate GT-B wagon, so this is the easier-going turbo estate.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive.
