The Legacy 250T Touring Wagon in facelifted BD/BG form was sold in Japan from 1996 to 1998. The mid-1996 update raised the naturally aspirated EJ25D 2.5-litre four-cylinder to 175 PS, up from 160 PS before, and it drives all four wheels through an automatic gearbox. It is the large-displacement, non-turbo wagon alongside the turbocharged GT models.
