The Legacy 2.5 Sedan is the US four-door of the third-generation BE/BH Legacy, sold for the 2000 and 2001 model years. It covers the American L and GT sedan grades, the mainstream version of the line in North America.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
