The Legacy 2.5 Touring Wagon is the US estate of the third-generation BE/BH Legacy, offered for the 2000 and 2001 model years. Its SOHC 2.5-litre four-cylinder is rated at 165 hp (SAE), with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive in this version. It was sold in the Brighton, L and GT grades, and it is the base estate that also underpinned the Outback of the period.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive.
