The Legacy B4 RS is the naturally aspirated sports sedan of the facelifted BE/BH line in Japan, sold from 2001 to 2003. Its EJ204 2.0-litre four-cylinder with AVCS variable valve timing makes 155 PS and drives all four wheels through an automatic gearbox. It has less power than the 170 PS RS25 and the turbocharged RSK in the same B4 range.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
