Legacy B4 RS25

The Legacy B4 RS25 is a non-turbo sports sedan in the facelifted BE/BH line, sold in Japan from 2001 to 2003. It uses the EJ254 2.5-litre four-cylinder, rated at 170 PS, with an automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive and Bilstein dampers. It offered sport-sedan handling without the turbochargers, below the twin-turbo B4 RSK.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
