BL/BP · 2003–2006AWD

The Legacy 2.0i Touring Wagon is the base wagon of the fourth-generation Legacy (BP) for Japan, built from 2003 to 2006. It shares the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre EJ203 with the sedan, rated at 140 PS, with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. The long-roof Touring Wagon body is the family version of the line, and this trim is the one without the turbo or the six-cylinder engines.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
