The 2.0GT B4 with the automatic gearbox, from the 2006 facelift of the fourth-generation Legacy, was the turbo sedan for Japanese buyers who wanted an automatic, built until 2009. The 2.0-litre EJ20 turbo is rated at 260 PS and uses a five-speed automatic with all-wheel drive. The matching manual car makes 280 PS.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
