The facelifted Legacy 2.0GT B4 with the manual gearbox continued as the performance sedan of the Japanese range until 2009, on the second phase of the fourth generation (BL5). The turbocharged 2.0-litre EJ20 produces 280 PS through a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. It wears the hawkeye headlamps and revised grille and is the top output among the 2.0GT cars.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
