The Legacy STI S402 Touring Wagon is the wagon half of the S402 limited edition, sold in Japan in 2008 and 2009 on the facelifted fourth-generation Legacy (BP). It carries the turbocharged 2.5-litre EJ255 with 285 PS, all-wheel drive, Bilstein dampers, 18-inch BBS wheels and Brembo brakes. The 402 cars of the run were split across both body styles.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
