The Legacy 2.0D Sedan is the diesel Legacy of the fifth generation (BM) for Europe, sold from 2009 to 2012. It uses the 2.0-litre EE20 turbodiesel boxer, the first Subaru boxer diesel in a Legacy, rated at 150 PS and 350 Nm, with a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. The Touring Wagon offered the same engine and gearbox.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
