The Legacy 2.5GT Touring Wagon is the turbo wagon of the fifth-generation Legacy (BR) in Japan, sold from 2009 to 2012. The 2.5-litre EJ255 makes 285 PS and drives all four wheels through an automatic gearbox. It is the wagon sibling of the B4 2.5GT sedan, in a generation whose Legacy wagon was not sold in the US.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
