The Legacy 2.0D sedan was the diesel version for Europe in the facelift phase of the fifth generation, from 2012 to 2014. Its 2.0-litre EE20 turbodiesel boxer makes 150 PS and 350 Nm and is paired with a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive. The EE20 was the first boxer diesel fitted to a Legacy, on sale in Europe since 2008.

STORY

The Subaru Legacy is a mid-size car launched in 1989 as Subaru's flagship, offered in sedan and wagon forms with boxer engines and signature symmetrical all-wheel drive. It spawned the rugged Outback wagon and won acclaim for its turbocharged GT models and rally-derived engineering. The nameplate ran for seven generations, with production ending in the mid-2020s in its final markets.
